Tasks and Duties
The first step in mobile application development is coming up with a compelling concept. This week, you are tasked with developing a unique concept for a new mobile app. The app can be in any domain (e.g., lifestyle, productivity, gaming, education, etc.). The deliverable for this task will be a DOC file containing a detailed description of the app concept, target audience, problem it solves, and the key features it will offer. You should also include a competitive analysis, identifying similar apps in the market and explaining how your app will be different or better.
This week, your task is to design the user interface (UI) for your mobile app. You should create detailed wireframes for each screen and explain the flow between them. The DOC file you submit should include images of your wireframes and a description of each screen's purpose and features. Your design should focus on usability, simplicity, and ease of navigation. Consider the needs and expectations of your target audience while designing.
This week, you'll focus on the back-end of your mobile app. Design a database that will support the data requirements of your app. Identify the APIs that your app will need to interact with. The DOC file you submit should include a detailed description of your database structure, data flow diagrams, and the APIs you plan to use. You should also describe how the APIs will integrate with your app and the database.
This week, your task is to develop a prototype of your mobile app using a tool of your choice. The DOC file you submit should include screenshots of your prototype and a detailed description of the functionality it provides. Explain how you implemented the features and interfaces you designed in the previous weeks. Your prototype should demonstrate the key functionality of your app but doesn't need to be fully functional.
This week, your task is to develop a testing and quality assurance plan for your mobile app. Identify the key areas that need to be tested, the types of testing you'll perform (unit testing, integration testing, etc.), and the tools you'll use. The DOC file you submit should include a detailed testing plan, any test cases you have developed, and a description of the expected results.
This week, your task is to develop a marketing and launch strategy for your mobile app. Identify your marketing goals, target audience, marketing channels, and key marketing messages. The DOC file you submit should include a detailed marketing plan, a launch timeline, and a post-launch strategy for user acquisition and retention.
