The objective of this task is to gain a deep understanding of the various materials used in packaging and their implications. The key steps include identifying common materials, researching each one, comparing and contrasting, and finally documenting your findings. You will be evaluated on the thoroughness of your research, quality of your analysis, and the clarity of your documentation.

In the second week, you will delve into the design process of packaging. The task involves researching the phases involved in packaging design, from conceptualization to execution. You need to document the process in detail, explaining each step, the tools and techniques used, and the considerations at every stage. This should be submitted as a DOC file. You will be evaluated on your understanding of the process, the quality of your explanation, and the organization of your document.

Your task for week 3 is to develop a comprehensive understanding of quality control measures in packaging. You will research different QC methods, their advantages, disadvantages, and their applications. You will then compile your findings into a DOC file. Your report will be evaluated based on the depth of your research, the accuracy of your findings, and the clarity of your report.

In week 4, you will research and document the various international and local regulations, standards, and laws that govern packaging. You will also discuss how these regulations affect the design, production, and distribution of packaging. The task involves researching the regulations, understanding their implications, and documenting the findings in a DOC file. You will be evaluated based on the thoroughness of your research, your understanding of the regulations and their implications, and the clarity of your report.

The final week's task involves researching the role of sustainability in packaging. You will research different sustainable packaging materials and strategies, and how they can be implemented in the design and production processes. Compile your findings in a DOC file. Your report should cover what sustainability in packaging is, why it's important, and how it can be achieved.
