Tasks and Duties
Week 1 Task: Training Content Strategy Development:
For this task, your primary objective is to develop a comprehensive training content strategy for a fictitious organization in the Technology sector. This strategy should broadly cover the learning needs identified for the target audience. In your strategy, identify the key topics, subtopics, and suggest the sequence of training modules. Also, propose a few innovative content delivery methods and explain why these methods would be effective for the target audience. The final deliverable must be a DOC file that outlines your strategy, including an executive summary, identified learning needs, content topics, sequence, delivery methods, and a conclusion explaining how this strategy will improve the overall learning experience. Evaluation of this task will be based on the relevance of the identified learning needs, the comprehensiveness of the proposed topics, the sequence of the modules, the innovative nature of the proposed delivery methods, and the quality of writing.
Week 2 Task: Training Content Creation:
This week, you will be focusing on designing a detailed training module based on the strategy you developed in Week 1. Choose one of the main topics you proposed and create a comprehensive training module for it. This module should include a lesson plan, key learning objectives, content in the form of text, graphics, and tables, interactive activities, and an evaluation method (like a quiz or survey). Your final deliverable should be a DOC file that contains the training module. Evaluation of this task will be based on the clarity of the lesson plan, relevance of the learning objectives, quality and appropriateness of the content and activities, and the effectiveness of the proposed evaluation method.
Week 3 Task: Training Content Adaptation:
The task for this week is to adapt the training module you developed in Week 2 for a different audience. Assume that the original module was for mid-level employees, but now it needs to be adapted for entry-level employees. Identify the changes that need to be made in terms of complexity, language, examples, activities, and evaluation methods. Your final deliverable will be a DOC file that includes the adapted training module with clear indications of what changes were made and why. Evaluation of this task will be based on the appropriateness of the identified changes, the relevance of the adapted content for the new audience, and the overall quality of the adapted module.
Week 4 Task: Training Content Evaluation:
This week, you'll focus on evaluation. Develop a detailed evaluation plan for the training module you created in Week 3. This plan should include methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the content, learner's performance, learner's satisfaction, and the impact of the training on the organization. Also, propose a method to collect feedback and use it to improve future training modules. Your final deliverable will be a DOC file that contains the evaluation plan. Evaluation of the task will be based on the comprehensiveness of the evaluation methods, the relevance of the proposed feedback collection method, and the proposed use of the feedback in improving future training modules.
