Tasks and Duties
Week 1 Task: Creating a Product Vision Document:
In this task, you will be required to conceptualize a new feature for a hypothetical product and draft a comprehensive Product Vision Document. This document will serve as a blueprint for your feature's development and should cover its purpose, target audience, benefits, and key differentiators. You will need to conduct extensive market research, including analyzing competitors and identifying potential opportunities for your feature. This task will test your ability to think strategically and plan for a product's lifecycle. The final deliverable will be a DOC file containing your Product Vision Document. Please include a title page, table of contents, and references where necessary.
Week 2 Task: Drafting User Stories and Acceptance Criteria:
This week, your task is to draft user stories and acceptance criteria for the feature you conceptualized in Week 1. User stories will help you articulate user needs and desires, while acceptance criteria will determine when a user story is considered complete. This task requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of user-centric design. Your deliverable will be a DOC file containing a minimum of 10 user stories, each with its corresponding acceptance criteria. Make sure to clearly label each user story and acceptance criteria for easy reference.
Week 3 Task: Creating a Product Roadmap:
In your third week, you will create a detailed product roadmap for your feature. This roadmap should include all critical steps in the development process, from ideation to deployment, including milestones, timelines, and responsible teams or individuals. Your roadmap should be logical, achievable, and flexible to accommodate changes. The final deliverable will be a DOC file of your roadmap with a clear layout and timeline. Include a brief explanation of each step, its purpose, and the expected outcome.
Week 4 Task: Crafting a Go-to-Market Strategy:
For your final week, you will craft a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for your product feature. This strategy should detail how you plan to launch and promote your feature, including target markets, marketing and sales strategies, pricing, and customer support. The strategy should also outline key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Your deliverable will be a DOC file of your go-to-market strategy. It should be detailed, realistic, and align with the information in your previous documents.
