About this Internship

This Civil CAD programme gives you practical, job-ready experience through weekly real-world tasks. You will learn AutoCAD, civil drawings and build a portfolio project by the end. The internship is fully remote and self-paced, and on successful completion you receive an NSDC-affiliated Certificate of Experience.

Tasks and Duties
Learn the core concepts of Civil CAD. Set up the required tools and environment, and study how professionals work in this field. Skills covered: AutoCAD, civil drawings. Deliverable: a short write-up of the fundamentals plus a screenshot of your working setup.
Work through a guided, real-world style exercise in Civil CAD using AutoCAD, civil drawings. Focus on doing, not just reading — follow best practices and document your steps. Deliverable: a completed practice exercise with a brief explanation of your approach.
Plan and build a small end-to-end project in Civil CAD. Apply everything from the previous weeks and make independent decisions. Deliverable: a working mini project with documentation of what you built and why.
Complete a capstone project that shows your skills in Civil CAD. Polish your work, prepare a short presentation, and reflect on what you learned. Deliverable: a finished capstone project with a presentation or portfolio-ready summary.
