Submit a 2–3 page PDF report with proper case citation.
Week 3-4: Statutory Interpretation Exercise
Summary
Study a legal provision and explain how it applies to practical situations.
Objective
Select one provision from an Indian statute and study its meaning.
Break the provision into its important legal elements and exceptions.
Create three fictional situations and explain whether the provision applies.
Submit your analysis as a 2–3 page PDF report.
Week 5-6: Legal Research Memorandum
Summary
Research a specific legal question and prepare a professional research memorandum.
Objective
Select a narrow legal question from Indian law.
Research the relevant Acts, rules, and publicly available judgments.
Organise the findings into question, analysis, authorities, and conclusion.
Submit a 3–4 page legal research memorandum.
Week 7-8: Case Law Tracker & Summary Report
Summary
Track judgments in one area of law and identify important legal trends.
Objective
Select one area of law such as consumer, labour, company, or intellectual property law.
Find at least eight relevant judgments from public sources.
Create a spreadsheet containing case name, court, date, issue, and key decision.
Submit the tracker with a 1–2 page summary report.
